It goes without saying that social media is a powerful marketing tool, it's just as powerful to take your customer service efforts to the next level.
Today I am going to use restaurants and Instagram as an example. Businesses in other niches can use these tips as well.
- Use the Instagram stories highlights to feature a team member of the week. A simple gesture that shows appreciation and also promotes a sense of community.
- Have an Instagram live in your restaurant's kitchen. Of course with the permission of your Chef. Consumers are always wondering what goes on in the kitchen, what goes on behind closed doors. Give your audience a glimpse of what goes on behind closed doors; it'll go a long way.
- Promote various local events. For example, if you know of a concert happening near your restaurant, give your audience a head-ups with a post. Not only will you be promoting a local event in your community, you know that they say...community over competition.
