If you're like me, in the process of growing your business and helping others do the same, it's likely that at some point your social media accounts will end up on the back burner.
I've been there, and it's not a fun place to be. We all know that consistency is key and at the same time, it can get a little overwhelming.
Pinterest used to be the platform that I avoid for as long as possible; luckily I've developed a system that allows me to spend less than 30 minutes per week on Pinterest while still receiving about 20% of my website visits from Pinterest. This is an easy 4 step process. All you need is Canva.com and either your website or a blog.
Step 1: Pick a theme for the week.
Decide on a topic that you will discuss for the week, choose a topic that you've either discussed in a blog post before or information that can be found on your website.
Step 2: Text and Images.
Take some excerpts from the blog or website content and copy them onto a word document. Select at least seven items. You will be creating 7 quick graphics in Canva or Photoshop. Create a graphic with the excerpts and don't forget to add your website to the image. See below image for example. An excerpt from the article is on the image, and my pin will link to that specific blog.
Step 3: Pin away.
Once you save the pin ensure that you go back and edit the description to add a short description of what the article/ content is about and that you have the proper link directing your audience to read more on your website. If you are apart of some group boards, ensure that you share to those boards as well to increase your traffic even more.
Step 4: Repeat this quick process seven times and either schedule your pins or take a minute each day to pin your post.
You now have Pinterest content for one week. If you have a little extra time, feel free to repin some interesting posts that you find relevant to your industry.
